Vietnam Electronic Commerce Report 201519/05/2016The English version of Vietnam E-Commerce Report 2015 by Vietnam E-Commerce and Information Technology Agency (VECITA), Ministry of Industry and Trade is published. This report summarizes the key changes of e-commerce in 2015 such as continuing to update the new legislations, collecting the surveyed and analyzed data related to the business application of e-commerce enterprises in Vietnam.
In July 12th, 2010, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1073/QD - TTg approving the Master Plan for e-commerce development during the period of 2011 - 2015. After 5 years of the Master Plan implementation, this report has moved from the stage of building the initial infrastructure to transit the development stage with forming a solid infrastructure gradually and achieving many milestones in overall objectives.
The report in 2015 has some new contents compared with the 2014 year. These contents include: aggregating data on the application of e-commerce in export activities and the issues of e-commerce human resource development to meet market demands. In 2015, the data of enterprises and consumers were shown the second time in the report. These activities are considered as the new trends of e-commerce in the world as well as in Vietnam.
We hope that this report will continue to be a useful e-commerce publication not only for businesses, investors, authorities but also to all readers.
